| MSA Sports Network Student Athlete Spotlight |
|
Tyler Ellis is a senior at Beaver Area High School. He is a four year varsity defensive player
on Beaver's Boys Soccer team, which is currently in the PIAA finals. His team also came in
second in the WPIAL finals. Tyler has played soccer for many years on traveling and in house
teams plus competed in many tournaments.
Tyler is a World Ranked Powerlifter and has competed in Atlantic City in the WNPF World
Powerlifting Championships which were held in October. While heavy into the soccer season,
Tyler took second place at the WNPF in his age group 17-19 year olds. Tyler has been
powerlifting for four years and holds national and state records.
Tyler is also a Varsity Baseball player looking forward to his fourth year playing for
Beaver High School. Tyler is a lifeguard and an honor student and is planning to
attend Slippery Rock University in the Fall to major in Elementary Education. Tyler
would also like to be a personal trainer.

| How to Get Your Student in the Spotlight |
|
Balancing sports, schoolwork, and other activities is one of your
child's greatest challenges. We at MSA Sports would like to
spotlight some of these students who do just that - and do it WELL!
Parents, teachers, family members and friends, we need your help
identifying students to feature in the Student Athlete Spotlight.
Send a photograph of the student, along with some biographical
information. Student bio should be brief (2 or 3 paragraphs) and
include sport played and position, academic and other honors, GPA,
extracurricular activities, and any other information that helps to
showcase the achievements and character of this student athlete.
Once your child is selected we will send you a permission form to
allow us to post the student's picture and profile. Please
use this form to submit a student
for consideration.
